Andi Marquette is a co-editor with R. G. Emanuelle of Skulls and Crossbones: Tales of Women Pirates. She currently dwells in Colorado, where she writes novels, short stories, and nonfiction. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in anthropology and a doctorate in history. She started editing professionally in 1992 and has been obsessed with words ever since, which may or may not be a good thing. She is the author of short stories published through Torquere Press, Khimairal Ink, and Bedazzled Ink Publishing, and also the GCLS award-winning novel Land of Entrapment, its sequel State of Denial, and the third in that series, The Ties that Bind, all through Regal Crest Enterprises.
